The ability for all of us to now have a real network to position ourselves is indeed a privilege. We can't all be content generators, but the idea of being a different persona when you are on-line to IRL (In Real Life) is not sustainable. Seth Godin in this video gives a great perspective on ethical communication. "Genuine online communication works, when you're yourself... It's harder than ever to fake it, it's easier than ever to be yourself." If you have not read Linchpin, I highly recommend the read.
The actions we take do really tell a story about us, be it URL or IRL!
