Well, it's summer in the southern hemisphere. We love cooking in our house. That makes salads ideal, for bringing colour to the table, our plates and the meal. It also keeps the meal light in the heat.
The chicken was slow roasted, while covered in the oven and allowed to brown for the last five minutes.
The yellowtail was pan fried, and served with a home made salsa, that was orange and coriander based.
The oven grilled pumpkin, cooled and then served with feta cheese, basil and sunflower seeds.
The watermelon, served with feta cheese and thinly sliced red onions.
I'm sure you get the picture. That was Sunday lunch yesterday.
