Plain And Simple

Life is plain and simple, we just like to make it complicated. When you stop, and take time out, you get the chance to take it in and see it for what it is. Life really is plain and simple. Take a moment and use it to watch the sun set. Don't fiddle on your phone, don't speak to the person that might be there to watch the sun set with you.

Just watch the sun go down, minute by minute in silence. You can take the odd picture, as it usually is a beautiful moment you wish to hold on to. Those last few minutes though, as the sun disappears, and the lighting in the sky changes, is just something to be treasured, and no amount of photos can capture it like you really see it and experience it.

That's what I did with my wife and daughters last night. We went up to Chapman's Peak and the purpose was simply to watch the sun as it set. I can't begin to describe the feeling. A colour picture,  would not even do it a fraction of justice.
