Well, this is only my second glass, but this Cape Lady clearly appeals to me judging by the title that plays on grammar. I enjoy a good wine, and was amused yesterday when someone I met happened to ask me what wines I liked. He was referring to style. I proceeded to say something like this; "I enjoy Reds more than I enjoy Whites. I am getting to know Blends and am starting to like them also, but my preference is Shiraz, Pinotage and Merlot..." I didn't end there, and I realised as I was talking I must be the pretentious connoisseur's worst nightmare.
I like wines that taste good in my mouth. I have not had this Cape Lady from Warwick, and let's just say I am impressed with this blend which is Syrah, Pinotage and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The upside for me is this makes a visit to the Warwick wine estate all that much more likely. I have always been eager to go given the good reviews I have heard from my friends about the Warwick picnics.
