Cape Town, The Mother City

It was a strange weather pattern this morning in Cape Town's leafy suburb of Constantia. I am being specific as to where this was in Cape Town as one can experience the four seasons in one day here, and while one side of the mountain can be overcast and grey, the other side (in this case Sea Point) can be clear,  sunny skies.

This morning, we had a drizzle of rain and the sun teased a bit, but did not make an appearance. I think it's going to be a cold winter. I do think the colours are beautiful this time of year, as the different shades of green leaves morph to tan. Given it's a wet winter, Cape Town still gets to show off its natural beauty as the green is accentuated more.

We live in a beautiful country, you just need to stop and take it in.
