It's a lifestyle you choose. The content shared here is about beautiful images in a world filled with crazy. Those images are both created in words and in pictures and are a function of life as I experience it. Food, travel, career and social matters with a twist of politics as one would have in any lifestyle. I am not going to focus on the negative, although I will illuminate what is of concern in my opinion.

Are Video Games Really Bad For You?
Daphne Bavelier presents some very interesting findings in terms of the impact of video games on our brains. While the typical belief system is around games being bad, and playing them is is perceived to have a negative impact on the gamers, she argues that in reasonable doses, action games have a positive effect. Now, before you think she is out of her mind, and has no clue what she is talking about, bear in mind she has a PhD in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from MIT and has trained in human brain plasticity at the Salk Institute. If that does not give her authority on the topic, then don't bother opening your mind up further.
The trick is, this is about everything in small doses. She is not proposing that video games are good for your brain. What she is contradicting though, is the common notion of "video games are bad for you". A glass of red wine a night has proven results of positive impact on your health, we also know that seven glasses of wine on one day every week will not yield the same positive results. She argues there is an opportunity to be understood in making video games an enhancer, rather than an inhibitor, for a person's brain.
