Happy Saint Patrick's Day

Here is to wishing you to celebrate it well to those of you that get into the spirit of Saint Patrick's Day. The joys of the world being global is I can buy a can of Kilkenny at my local and raise my glass for the occasional cheer.


I do wonder how many people realise that this was originally about celebrating the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. I get the sense now that people think all this day is about, is getting dressed in green and drinking as much as is humanly possible. Nothing wrong with that I guess, if you do it once a year!
