One Of The Things I Love About Sunday

At the end of 2011, I discovered the power of doing nothing. We are always in a rush, busy with what we are expected deliver. We will never feel like we are getting there, if we don't stop to look and assess what is working and what is not, and ensuring we are still on the right path to get to where we are going. Everybody needs to recharge in order to be able to keep going, so do you know what it takes for you to recharge or reload?

According to the Myers-Briggs typology model (MBTI), I have an attitude preference for introversion (as opposed to extraversion). This is true if I look at my behaviour. To most, I seem outward going and always interactive with people around me and I do not disagree with the perception. However, I do need my quiet time away, from everything and everyone to recharge. It is important for me to have meaningful engagements, but when I don't give enough time and space to myself, to think and reflect my energy levels suffer. I am flat at best and I get overwhelmed by even the smallest commitments that lie ahead.

One of the things I love about Sunday is that I get lost in my reading and thoughts and chill at home. Do you know what works for you to recharge? Find a beautiful place to get lost... Thank you Michael Wurm for this map.
