SnapScan, Makes Payments Convenient

My wife will be downloading SnapScan. She has heard me talk about it, but she had never seen me use it up until today. We were at Constantia Waldorf school, picking up my eldest daughter Jordan. They have an organic market there on Fridays, and Bees In Boots was ever present, selling organic fruit and vegetables. Oranges, naartjies, guavas,  spring onion and lettuce was all Chomba wanted but she did not have cash on her.

Seeing the SnapScan sign, she knew to just find me.It also presented the opportunity for me to demonstrate how the app works. I have already linked it to my credit card, meaning where a retailer has SnapScan,  I don't have to take out my credit card to swipe, risking the dreaded risk of my card strip being stolen and someone subsequently having fun at my expense.

It was so refreshing to see the Bees In Boots lady with the payment capability. What I enjoyed with her story was as a merchant she liked it for being cheaper than your typical credit card terminal and how she received her money into her bank account was clean and clear to her. She also admitted that technology is not her strength, and yet she dared try SnapScan and it was paying off.

I didn't have money in my wallet either, and so the fruit and veg would have been a mere miss without SnapScan. Now we can look forward to freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast.
