Are You Having Trouble Sleeping?

Are you having trouble sleeping? The first question you should answer is how have you defined "having trouble sleeping". I have been brought up on a belief system of eight hours a day, but the truth is I sleep less than that and feel fully charged, provided I am eating and drinking right. My performance is all that much better if I am exercising regularly.

Several sleep studies have found that seven hours is the optimal amount of sleep—not eight, as was long believed—when it comes to certain cognitive and health markers, although many doctors question that conclusion.

So, studies aside, with feedback such as this Wall Street Journal article, Why Seven Hours  Of Sleep Might Be Better Than Eight, I suggest you be more aware of yourself and follow what works for you.

I mean, there were times when a cup of coffee before bed for me had the same effect as a cup of hot chocolate before bed for others.
