Marcos Rojo took a big risk with his defensive clearance for Argentina in their World Cup game in Brazil earlier this morning, South African time. Pulling off a rabona is difficult, and doing it unnecessarily in his own penalty box, the Sporting Lisbon based player could have made a mess of things had he failed to execute.
In association football, the rabona is a method of kicking the football whereby the kicking leg is wrapped around the back of the standing leg—effectively with one's legs crossed.
