Craft Restaurant in Parkhurst has been added to my list of places to dine when in Johannesburg. I went there this morning for breakfast and I will definitely be back. The name is so apt, with the food exciting to look at and delicious to eat. The setting is warm and easy and they pay attention to detail finishing off the experience just the way I like it.
There is a lot in a brand and the clean yet rustic copper colours are imprinted in my mind, including something as little as their brand name, CRAFT, printed on the serviettes. My Americano ordered with hot milk brought in a miniature shutterstock like milk can... It didn't just look good, it tasted and felt great!
I Googled Craft, and Wikipedia gave me this, which I find fitting,
"In English, to describe something as a craft is to describe it as lying somewhere between an art (which relies on talent and technique) and a science (which relies on knowledge)."
