Is Our Education Always Going To Be Cooked?

"As long as education means training children how to be dependent, how to be good followers, we will never begin to tap into the promise that each child brings into the world" ~ Stephen R. Covey in his book The 3rd Alternative

It does make me cynical as to whether it is in any government's best interests to deliver a good education as the world over, the challenge is providing every child a decent education. 
You have to wonder if they know that by educating people enough, they would be able to get away with less nonsense in power (the governments that is).
