Lessons From King James On Attention To Detail

It's easy to miss things, to overlook things. Attention to detail is a key requirement in every aspect of your life, never mind the job that you do!

Big up to King James on this ad, they nailed it. The creative approach to this ad for a short term insurance business (in this case Santam), is to be admired. This answers the question I have of how advertising gets a hold of our eye balls in this era of PVR (Personal Video Recorder). When you get consumers to talk about your ads, and that results in them searching it on YouTube and watching it, you are still achieving the same outcome. YouTube is therefore a complement to the TV Ad in this case.

My brother watched this ad on TV and told me about it, and I watched it for the first time here, based on his appraisal of how sharp the ad is. I have seen the ad on TV, but not watched it, as it usually is during us watching a recorded show, and I fast forward commercial breaks.

This is Digital Advertising, supporting Television Advertising. It is not cannibalistic, as many would like to believe will happen, it is complementary.
