He obviously said this from an American perspective, and as an African I can't help but be left cold by that statement! I know the difference between important and relevant, so that is not my reason for finding the statement tasteless.
The power of the message in this video in terms of the danger of how the internet is used by you is accentuated by the above quote! You are not as open minded as you think, if you actually realised how the results of the world you get sight of are manipulated.
